śīlaṃ rakṣeta medhāvī prārthayan vai sukhatrayam |

praśaṃsāvittalābhaṃ ca pretya svarge ca modanam ||

智者能護戒,福致三種報,現名聞得利,終後生天上。(1)

sthānāny etāni sampaśyan śīlaṃ rakṣeta paṇḍitaḥ |

āryo darśanasampannaḥ sa loke labhate śivam ||

當見持戒者,護之為明智,得成真正見,彼獲世安靜。(2)

sukhaṃ śīlasamādānaṃ kāyo na paridahyate |

sukhaṃ ca rātrau svapati pratibhuddhaś ca nandati ||

持戒得快樂,令身無煩惱,夜睡眠恬淡,寤則長喜悅。(3)

śīlaṃ yāvaj jarā sādhu śraddhā sādhu pratiṣṭhitā |

prajñā narāṇāṃ ratnaṃ vai puṇyaṃ coraiḥ sudurharam ||

戒終老死安,戒善止亦寧,慧為人之寶,福德賊難脫。(4)

戒法終為安,戒法善安止,慧為人之寶,唯福不能盜。(6)

kṛtvā puṇyāni saprajño dattvā dānāni śīlavān |

iha cātha paratrāsau sukhaṃ samadhigacchati ||

修戒行布施,作福為良田,從是至彼岸,常到安樂處。(7)

śīle pratiṣṭhito bhikṣur indriyaiś ca susaṃvṛtaḥ |

bhojane cāpi mātrajño yukto jāgarikāsu ca ||

苾芻立戒德,守護諸根門,飲食知節量,寤寐意相應。(8)

viharann evaṃ ātāpī hy aho rātram atandritaḥ |

abhavyaḥ parihāṇāya nirvāṇasyaiva so ’ntike ||

意常生覺悟,晝夜精勤學,漏盡心明解,可致圓寂道。〈6 持戒品〉(9)

以覺意得應,日夜慕習學,解脫甘露要,決定得無漏。〈15 憶念品〉(8)

常能維持警醒,日夜勤奮修習而志向涅槃的人,他們能漏盡解脫。(17.6)226

śīle pratiṣṭhito bhikṣuś cittaṃ prajñāṃ ca bhāvayet |

ātāpī nipako nityaṃ prāpnuyād duḥkhasaṃkṣayam ||

智者立禁戒,專心習智慧,苾芻無熱惱,盡果諸苦除。(10)

tasmāt satataśīlī syāt samādher anurakṣakaḥ |

vipaśyanāyāṃ śikṣec ca samprajānapratismṛtaḥ ||

以戒常伏心,守護正定意,內學修止觀,無忘為正智。(11)

sa tu vikṣīṇasaṃyogaḥ kṣīṇamāno niraupadhiḥ |

kāyasya bhedāt saprajñaḥ saṃkhyān nopaiti nirvṛtaḥ ||

蠲除諸罪垢,盡慢勿生疑,終身求法戒,勿遠離聖念。(12)

śīlaṃ samādhiḥ prajñā ca yasya hy ete subhāvitāḥ |

so ’tyantaniṣṭho vimalas tv aśokaḥ kṣīṇasambhavaḥ ||

戒定慧解脫,應當善觀察,彼已離塵垢,盡煩惱不生。(13)

saṅgāt pramukto hy asita ājñātāvī niraupadhiḥ |

atikramya māraviṣayaṃ ādityo vā virocate ||

集白淨解脫,無智皆以盡,超越魔羅界,如日光明照。(14)

uddhatasya pramattasya bhikṣuṇo bahirātmanaḥ |

śīlaṃ samādhiḥ prajñā ca pāripūriṃ na gacchati ||

我慢及迷醉,苾芻應外避,戒定慧三行,求滿勿遠離。(15)

channam evābhivarṣati vivṛtaṃ nābhivarṣati |

tasmād dhi channaṃ vivared evaṃ taṃ nābhivarṣati ||

既不放自恣,諸有勿想念,是故捨陰蓋,不生如是障。(16)

etad dhi dṛṣṭvā śikṣeta sadā śīleṣu paṇḍitaḥ |

nirvāṇagamanaṃ mārgaṃ kṣipram eva viśodhayet ||

苾芻防禁戒,恒見學此者,直趣涅槃路,速得淨如是。(6.17)

智者了解此一道理,以戒調御,將迅速清淨導向涅槃的道路。(20.17)289

na puṣpagandhaḥ prativātam eti na vāhnijāt tagarāc candanād vā |

satāṃ tu gandhaḥ prativātam eti sarvā diśaḥ satpuruṣaḥ pravāti ||

花香不逆風,芙蓉栴檀香,德香逆風薰,德人徧聞香。(18)

旃檀、多伽羅、茉莉的花香無法逆風而薰,德人(真人)德行從各個方向而薰香。(4.11)54

tagarāc candanāc cāpi vārṣikāyās tathotpalāt |

etebhyo gandhajātebhyaḥ śīlagandhas tv anuttaraḥ ||

烏鉢嚩哩史,多誐羅栴檀,如是等花香,勿比於戒香。(19)

旃檀、多伽羅、青蓮花和茉莉花,在眾多香氣之中,德行的香最殊勝。(4.12)55

alpamātro hy ayaṃ gandho yo ’yaṃ tagaracandanāt |

yas tu śīlavatāṃ gandho vāti deveṣv apīha saḥ |

------

旃檀、多伽羅的香氣非常微弱,德行的香最殊勝,它上薰天界。(4.13)56

teṣāṃ viśuddhaśīlānām apramādavihāriṇām |

samyag ājñā vimuktānāṃ māro mārgaṃ na vindati ||

若人能持戒,清淨不放逸,正智得解脫,是名安樂處。(20)

那些具戒、精進、依正智而解脫的人,魔羅無法找到他們。(4.14)57

20

eṣa kṣemagamo mārga eṣa mārgo viśuddhaye |

pratipannakāḥ prahāsyanti dhyāyino mārabandhanam ||

此道無有上,消除禪定魔,賢聖德難量,得達八正路。(21)

你必須自行努力(修道),如來只是解說者,修禪而進入此道者,能解脫魔羅的束縛。(20.4) (276)
