vitīrṇaparalokasya nākāryaṃ pāpam asti yat ||

應遠離一法,所謂妄語人,無惡不經歷,不免後世苦。(9.1)

違犯一法而說妄語、不信有來世的人,無惡不作。(13.10)176

śreyo hy ayoguḍā bhuktās taptā hy agniśikhopamāḥ |

na tu bhuñjīta duḥśīlo rāṣṭrapiṇḍam asaṃyataḥ ||

寧吞熱鐵丸,渴飲洋銅汁,不以無戒身,食人信施物。(9.2)

寧可吞食熾熱的鐵丸,而不要以無戒又不自調御而接受別人布施(食物)。(22.3)308

犯戒放逸人,國中如肉團,無慚不畏罪,後受地獄殃。(9.3)

saced bibheṣi duḥkhasya sacet te duḥkham apriyam /
mā kārṣīḥ pāpakam karma tv āvir vā yadi vā rahaḥ //

若人畏苦報,亦不樂行苦,勿造諸惡行,念尋生變悔。(9.4)

sacet pāpāni karmāṇi kariṣyasi karoṣi vā /
na te duḥkhāt pramokṣo 'sti hy utplutyāpi palāyataḥ //

至誠為諸惡,自作教他作,不免於苦報,欲避有何益?(9.5)

naivāntarīkṣe na samudramadhye na parvatānāṃ vivaraṃ praviśya |

na vidyate ’sau pṛthivīpradeśo yatra sthitaṃ na prasaheta karma ||

非空非海中,非入山石間,莫能於此處,避免宿惡殃。 (9.6)

不論在空中、海中,或進入山洞裡,世上沒有一處地方能逃脫惡報。(9.12)127

yat pareṣāṃ vigarheta karma dṛṣṭveha pāpakam |

ātmanā tan na kurvīta karma baddho hi pāpakaḥ ||

眾生有苦惱,不免於老死,唯有仁智者,能免纏縛罪。(9.7)

ye kūṭamānayogena viṣameṇa ca karmaṇā |

manuṣyān upahiṃsanti parato upakrameṇa vā|

te vai prapātaṃ prapatanti karmabaddhā hi te janāḥ ||

妄語求賄賂,自所行不正,怨譖良善人,以枉治善士,罪纏斯等人,沒溺深險坑。(9.8)

yat karoti naraḥ karma kalyāṇam atha pāpakam |

tasya tasyaiva dāyādo na hi karma praṇaśyati ||

夫士為行者,好之與暴惡,各自為己身,終以不敗亡。(9.9)

vilumpate hi puruṣo yāvad asyopakalpate |

tato ’nye taṃ vilumpanti sa viloptā vilupyate ||

kurvan hi manyate bālo naitaṃ māṃ āgamiṣyati |

sāmparāye tu jānāti yā gatiḥ pāpakarmaṇām ||

動轉屈身形,唯影恒親附,或起或往來,不離其形影,不但影隨形,形亦自隨影,猶行善惡行,終不離自身。(9.10)

遂貪食毒味,不從吾往言,為毒之所害,後乃自覺悟。(9.11)

kurvan hi manyate bālo naitaṃ māṃ āgamiṣyati |

paścāt tu kaṭukaṃ bhavati vipākaṃ pratiṣevataḥ ||

愚心不開悟,習惡不從吾,受地獄苦痛,後方悟其教。(9.12)

sa cet pāpāni karmāṇi kurvan bālo na budhyate |

karmabhiḥ svais tu durmedhā hy agnidagdha eva tapyate ||

人雖為惡行,亦不數數行,於彼意不樂,知惡之為苦。〈28 罪障品〉(20)

愚者作惡時不自覺為惡,愚者受業報煎熬痛苦如火燒身。(10.8)136

caranti bālā duṣprajñā hy amitrair iva cātmabhiḥ |

kurvantaḥ pāpakaṃ karma yad bhavati kaṭukaṃ phalam ||

愚者的作為像是自己的仇敵,自作惡行,自招惡果。(5.7)66

na tat karma kṛtaṃ sādhu yat kṛtvā hy anutapyate |

rudann aśrumukho yasya vipākaṃ pratiṣevate ||

所作行為不善,已作而後悔,導致惡報而啼泣,淚流滿面。(5.8)67

tat tu karma kṛtaṃ sādhu yat kṛtvā nānutapyate |

yasya pratītaḥ sumanā vipākaṃ pratiṣevate ||

人能作其福,亦當數數造,於彼意願樂,善愛其福報。〈28 罪障品〉(21)

所作行為良善,已作而不致後悔,將受善報而歡樂愉悅。(5.9)68

hasantaḥ pāpakaṃ karma kurvanty ātmasukhaiṣiṇaḥ |

rudantas tasya vipākaṃ prativindanti duḥkhitāḥ ||

戲笑為其惡,已作身自受,號泣受罪報,隨行而罪至。(9.13)

na hi pāpakṛtaṃ karma sadyaḥ kṣīram iva mūrchati |

dahan tad bālam anveti bhasmācchanna ivānalaḥ ||

惡不即時受,如[(殼-一)/牛]牛湩汁,罪在於陰伺,譬如灰覆火。(9.14)

惡行不會即時顯現惡報,就像牛奶不會即刻凝結,如同踩在覆蓋灰燼的火上,燒痛馬上跟隨愚人而來。(5.12)71

na hi pāpakṛtaṃ karma sadyaḥ śastram iva kṛntati |

sāmparāye tu jānāti yā gatiḥ pāpakarmaṇām |

paścāt tu kaṭukaṃ bhavati vipākaṃ pratiṣevataḥ ||

惡不即時受,如彼鋒利劍,不慮於後世,當受其苦報。(9.15)

惡為惡所縛,為惡不自覺,至惡知惡至,受惡惡根源。(9.16)

ayaso hi malaḥ samutthitaḥ sa tad utthāya tam eva khādati |

evaṃ hy aniśāmyacāriṇaṃ svāni karmāṇi nayanti durgatim ||

如鐵生翳垢,反食其自身,惡生於自心,還當壞其體。 (9.17)

如同鐵生鏽,鐵鏽蝕去它所出生的鐵,過度沉溺於衣食(四事供養)者將導入惡趣。(18.6)240
